28th July Occasional Shower
七月二十八日 時晴時雨

Without knowing why and how,
今日六點幾就起咗身，

I woke up at six in the morning,

任我左翻右轉，

No matter how hard I tried,

定平舖直卧，

I just couldn't fall back into sleep.

都唔成功瞓回籠覺。

Therefore,

於是，

I started cooking for myself :)

賢淑嘅我就開始煮早餐（係，俾自己食！）

Then, I started cleaning the bedsheets, washing some dishes, watering the plant and spent a whole century to type the last entry.

跟著洗床單，洗碗，淋花，吸塵同用成世紀去打blog！

At around 11am, riding to pick up APe for lunch.

跟著大約11點踩車去接芬蘭猴食飯！

I only spent 13 minutes to reach his workplace,

我十三分鐘就到！

2 minutes earlier than last time!

快咗之前兩分鐘！

Must give myself a big hand!

要即刻俾個叻 :D:D:D:D自己！

Then we cruised around the city,

之後左穿右插，

Finally after like 30 minutes, reached Tuomas's workplace.

終於到咗湯馬仕公司樓下。

APe's best friend Kimmo and his daughter little Kimmo joined us for lunch.

芬蘭猴老死大金毛同佢個女小金毛都同我哋一齊食飯！

I was so happy to finally met Tuomas after like a year!

好開心見翻湯馬仕！

He has become more handsome and

佢又型咗又靚仔咗！

much fitter!

重勁fit！

He now works as a CEO in a department in a  private bank!

佢而家係一間私人銀行做部門CEO，

And he has over 50 subordinates!

有成五十幾個手下！

Awesome!

勁嘢！

During lunch, little Kimmo shared her food with me!

席間，小金毛同我分享佢嘅食物！

Such a rare action from a one-year-old kid!

係一歳小朋友少見𠺢！

After lunch, Tuomas showed me around his office.

跟著湯馬仕帶我上去佢公司參觀。

During the tour, I have noticed that Tuomas has changed a lot.

中間我覺得湯馬仕同我之前識嘅佢變咗好多。

He became more aggressive,

非常積極進取，

Dedicated and imposing.

投入同有氣勢。

Fighting, Tuomas, my dear friend!

加油呀，湯馬仕，我的恩人同好朋友！

Later, Big and little Kimmo showed me around another side of Helsinki.

之後大小金毛帶我逛赫爾辛基。

Kimmo was still on paternity leave,

大金毛仍然放緊男仕待產假，

Actually, he had been on that leave for a very long time.

其實已經放咗好耐，

In addition to his other holidays,

但加埋佢其他假期，

He will still be on leave for like a week more!

佢重可以放多一個半星期先番工！

My goodness!

天啊！

Why is life so unfair! hahahhahaha

真係同人唔同命⋯

On the way home,

係番屋企途中，

Little Kimmo taught me three vocabulary,

同小金毛玩時佢教咗我三個生字。

They are Bread, LOOK! and Hide.

分別係Leipä, katso 同 piilo （麵包，「你睇！」同「收埋咗！」。

I told Kimmo that I had to compete with little Kimmo,

跟著我同大金毛笑住話要同小金毛比賽，

To see who would learn to speak Finnish fluently first.

睇下邊個會快D識講芬蘭話。

Then Kimmo said he would teach little Kimmo and I how to ski.

之後大金毛又話會教我同小金毛滑雪，

He used to compete in races!

佢之前係比賽選手！

WOW!

勁！

At around 3pm,

分別之後，

I went home and started packing.

我就番屋企執行李。

So we could leave as schedule at 4:45pm to Äänekoski to visit APe's dad.

下奏四點九，我哋就去安內科斯基找芬蘭猴爸。

After a 3-hour drive,

三個小時后，

We reached our destination with a warm welcome of hugs and sausage soup (makkarakeitto),

我哋喺熱烈的擁抱同好好味嘅香腸湯嘅歡迎下，

Which marked the beginning of our 3-day-3-night vacation in the countryside. 

開始咗我咗三日三夜嘅鄉郊假期。

七月二十九日 同陽光玩遊戲

As mentioned earlier,

早前提及，

APe successfully obtained the permission to work at home on Fridays.

芬蘭猴成功申請星期五Home office，

On top of the flexi-hour policy,

又因佢公司行彈性上班時間，

He is now able to work whenever he wants.

所以，

Therefore, he started working at around 7am this morning.
今日佢七點幾就開始工作，

In the hope that he could finish his work at around 3pm.
務求下奏三點幾可以停工同我哋去玩！

Also, as APe's dad has some construction projects to finish,

猴爸接咗幾單起屋工程嚟做，

And that he is a keen-believer of the saying: Early birds catch the worms.

而又因佢信奉早起的鳥兒有好多蟲吃，

He drove to work at 6:30am!!!

所以佢六點幾就去咗番工！！！

I was totally in awe of the father and son's work attitude!

佢兩個嘅工作態度令我佩服得五體投地。

And this slogan started lingering in my head:

耳邊即時響起呢句嘢：

'One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, the harder you work, the better the reward!'

「一二三四五六七，多勞多得！」

As for Maria, Daniel and I, we chillaxed by reading.

而我，瑪利亞同旦以理就悠閒咁睇書。

Finally, APe finished his work!

終於等到芬蘭猴放工，

We went to buy ingredients for paella with Daniel.

我哋同旦以理去買材料煮西班牙大鍋飯。

After finishing grocery-shopping,

買完後，

We went fishing.

我哋去咗釣魚。

I have never fished, not to mention using a rod to fish,

我咁大個女第一次划船去釣魚，

and rowing on a boat.

重要係用魚桿呀！

What's more, I was able to catch a fish within one hour!

我重竟然係一個鐘頭內釣到魚！

Can you imagine??? hahahahaha

估我唔到喱！😜😜😜😜

After arrving home,
番到屋企，

APe started cooking the paella,

芬蘭猴開始煮西班牙飯。

While his dad and Maria baked me my birthday cake!
猴爸同瑪利亞就整生日蛋糕俾我！

And it's my favorite rhubarb pie!

係我最鍾意嘅大黃批！

Then we had a picnic party in the backyard.

跟著我哋就喺後園到開P。

APe's dad invited their friend Joouni and his daughter to join us.

猴爸重請咗佢哋嘅朋友翁尼同佢個女。

A table of 7 celebrated my special day with an awesome dinner, under the blue sky and on the lawn.

一枱七人係藍天綠草寫意地享受生日飯。

I was very happy.

我好開心，

And felt blessed.

亦好感恩。

For the wonderful family and friends.

I found that,

The Overdue Leisure time 難得悠閒

Peaceful time,
安靜的時間，

Sufficient rest,
充足的休息，

Were what I had always been deprived of when I was in Hong Kong,

係我喺香港時一直都無嘅嘢⋯

Especially when I was working...

尤其係番工時，

I woke up daily at 6:30am,

由六點半起身，

And worked until after 8pm,

八點幾收工，

Then headed home or to my parents' home

番屋企或者阿爸阿媽屋企，

Day after day, months after months... energy and hope were drained from my body and soul...

每一日都好累好累⋯

Not to mention having to meet with the debate team members starting from 10sth pm until after midnight...

重未計同辯論隊係google doc十點幾至深夜開會。

The only gratifying moments were,

所以唯一的休息同開心時間，

When I could play with Nicole and Nathan,

就係同小肥晴同大舊一齊玩，

Absorbing the positive energy from their innocent smiles,

兩個小朋友純真的笑容，

Their incomprehensible baby talks,

一舊一舊唔知講乜嘅回答，

And all of a sudden, amazed by the new skills or words that they learnt!

同突然間學識的新技能同詞，

So soul-soothing,

好窩心，

I miss you.

好掛念。

Our APe works from 8am to 4pm daily.

呢幾日芬蘭猴由八至四番工，

While he was working, I did housework and biked around Helsinki.

我就做家務同踩車去探索赫爾新基。

Apart from what I have updated you here or on facebook,

除咗之前更新咗嘅嘢外，

We also did home sauna,

呢幾日我哋重係屋企做桑拿，

Biked to Vanhakaupunki,

我踩車兜咗去舊城，

Went to 4 different supermarkets (K-market, S-market, Lidl and one other enormous market) to have a look at if they have what I need and of course, compare product price,

去咗四個超市睇下，比下，

I also started reading again,

開始睇書，

And sort out rubbish,

自己去分類棄垃圾，

Cook something I have never made before for APe :)

同埋煮一D我重未煮過嘅嘢食！

Today, we will have lunch with Tuomas somewhere around Mikonkatu,

今日我哋會同Tuomas去佢公司附近食午餐，

After APe is home, we will drive to Aanekoski to spend the weekend with APe's daddy,

下奏就駕車去Aanekoski探芬蘭猴爸!

As APe missed his annual inspection day because he was in Hong Kong,

芬蘭猴㗎車因為太耐無揸，

And that his car has been idled for too long in the garage,

而又因喺香港未趕及年檢，

We haven't been able to use it for the whole week.

所以我哋呢個星期完全無車用！

Hopefully, it will pass the inspection and we can pick up the car today!

希望今日可以成功攞車！

Otherwise, we can only drive to his dad earliest tomorrow!

Oh yes, we have some good news.

係喎，有個好消息，

From today onwards,

芬蘭猴以後一星期只要番公司工作四日，

APe can homeoffice on Fridays!

星期五可以喺屋企工作！

I am so jealous!

Oh yes, something fun I wana share with you :)

啊，呢幾日有幾個小插曲，

First,

一：

Two days ago, I went to play badminton and workout at APe's office,

前日我去芬蘭猴公司打波同做Gym，

I even started learning volleyball!

學打排球！

And I found that I am quite good at it!

原來我都幾有天分！

However, my hands and arms are both bruised!

但我同手就瘀咗！

Second,
二：

When we were on the way home one day,

番屋企路上，

We bumped into his ex-boss!

遇到芬蘭猴舊上司！

She invited us to her summer house in the city!

佢邀請我哋去佢喺市入的summer house 開P！

Third,

三：

We started our gardening project yesterday!

我哋開始種嘢！

It begins with planting avocados!

先嚟牛油果！

Fourth,
四：

I don't remember which day,

又有一日，

Anyway, one day, I went downstairs to throw away the garbage.

我去地下垃圾房棄垃圾，

Accidentally, I opened somebody's garage for bikes!

開錯咗隔離屋單車房！

Finally, I found the rubbish collection point,

到搵到垃圾房，

As there are way too many humongous rubbish bins in way too many colours,

因為有太多唔同顏色的大桶，

And I have no idea what they are for because everything is described in Finnish!

又唔識睇芬蘭文，

I hesitated for a long time,
所以遲疑咗好耐。

When I suddenly remembered that yellow for aluminum, blue for paper and brown for plastic bottles,
當我醒起黃鋁罐，藍廢紙，啡膠樽時，

Haha!

哈哈！

The light was out!

突然一遍漆黑，

My heart jumped!

嚇一嚇！

Yet, when I moved a little,

我一「旭」，

The light was back!

要光有光！

Yay!!! hahahahaha!

哈哈哈哈！

My First Week in Funland 我在芬蘭嘅第一個禮拜

It's been 6 weeks since we returned to Funland,
芬蘭猴帶肥企鵝回歸FUNLAND已經六日啦！

Somehow I feel like home yet it's not yet like home.
肥企鵝好似好習慣，但又唔係好習慣。

Well, I am used to how peaceful it is, without many people but humongous number of forests! XD

習慣佢人少，寧靜同有好多好多嘅樹林，

However, I am not used to not having my mum nagging me about things, especially her calls to ask us when we were going home, etc..
唔習慣無阿媽打嚟叫我哋去飲湯呀，問我哋幾時番屋企呀等等…

And the convenience HK offers that I can pick up my favorite Sichuan hot and sour noodles right after I stepped outside home.
重有就係一落街就有四川酸辣粉，

Oh, not to mention my panel members' most loved McDelivery!!!! OH！
重有我同PANEL至愛嘅麥麥送！

Yet, I am grateful that I have a new bike (Kiitoksia, minun Rakas!)
但感恩我有新車落地，

Now I can go around to explore the neighbourhood or further away from Herttoniemi!

終於可以周圍去啦！

I will stop now cause I have to go play badminton at APe's office.
而家UPDATE住咁多先，因為我要去芬蘭猴公司打羽毛球！
